The International Coach Federation Maryland Chapter (ICF-MD) welcomes you! The ICF-MD is a vibrant and growing organization that supports the needs of professional coaches throughout the state of Maryland. Connecting, learning and promoting the profession of coaching is our aim. In the session, you will learn the basics of effective boundary setting and you will be provided with the Boundaries Handbook that Mark has written.


Business Development Community of Practice

June 10, 2016 • 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM

We invite all new coaches wanting to build their practice to join us for the Business Development Community of Practice meeting. Please register so we can plan for seating.


Important Membership Changes

There are some exciting changes to membership requirements for our chapter. ICF Global is very committed to advancing the art, science, and practice of coaching. ICF’s recently revised vision statement states that coaching is an integral part of a thriving society and every ICF Member represents the highest quality of professional coaching. ICF’s mission is that we exist to lead the global advancement of the coaching profession.

As part of ICF Global’s emphasis on our profession, in order to be a member of our Maryland Charter Chapter, (or any local chapter) you will now need to be a member of ICF Global, effective January 1, 2016. That requires that you meet one of these requirements:

  • Have a credential (ACC, PCC, MCC)
  • Have 60 hours of coach specific training
  • Be enrolled in approved ACTP or ACSTH training program and are due to complete at least 60 coach-training hours within 12 months of enrollment

If you are already a member of ICF global and haven’t selected Maryland as your home chapter, please consider doing so.

If you are not a member of ICF Global, and are eligible, please join and select Maryland as your home chapter.
